When... ???

The EVS will take place from September 5th till September 18th. It will take only 2 weeks, as it is a short-term EVS, however, it will be full of activities. Here you can take a look at weekly schedule of this project:

Monday
9am – 12am
Theoretical part – introduction to the project, planned activities; presentations, lessons and discussions to the topic of the EVS project

14pm – 17pm
Preparation of practical outdoor activities (preparation of material, introduction in the place of the implementation) and practical realisation of activities – workshops (production of earth bricks – adobe, recycling of old bricks, building, mixing the material for earth plastering, plastering, carpentry works – always due to actual needs)

Tuesday
9am – 12am
Theoretical part – lessons on traditional and alternative building methods, presentations, discussions, film projections.

14pm – 17pm
Preparation of practical outdoor activities (preparation of material, introduction in the place of the implementation) and practical realisation of activities – workshops (production of earth bricks – adobe, recycling of old bricks, building, mixing the material for earth plastering, plastering, carpentry works – always due to actual needs)

Wednesday
9am – 12am
Preparation of practical outdoor activities (preparation of material, introduction in the place of the implementation) and practical realisation of activities – workshops (production of earth bricks – adobe, recycling of old bricks, building, mixing the material for earth plastering, plastering, carpentry works – always due to actual needs)

Trips for getting to know historical, natural and cultural heritage of the region; visit of the National park - Slovak Karst; visit of the capital of the region – Rožňava; discussion on topic ‘Heritage and Future.’

Friday
9am – 12am
Practical realization of activities – workshops (production of earth bricks – adobe, recycling of old bricks, building, mixing the material for earth plastering, plastering, carpentry works – always due to actual needs)

14pm – 17pm

Saturday, Sunday
Free time, possibility to take part in common activities due to interest and suggestions of volunteers and the hosting organization.
